PRESS RELEASE Music photography up close: Neal Preston with "In the Eye of the Rock'n'Roll Hurricane" from December at the Hamburg Auditorium

Hamburg/11/17/2022 // Revel nostalgically in past concert experiences with stars like Queen or Michael Jackson: Whether it's snapshots with Freddie Mercury, who is preparing for the performance with Queen and putting on kajal, or whether you feel live with rock greats like Led Zeppelin or Mötley Crüe sitting together - Neal Preston's music photographs take you back to the pop and rock era of yesteryear. Preston's exhibition "In the Eye of the Rock'n'Roll Hurricane" can be visited from December 08, 2022 to January 21, 2023 in the Auditorium Hamburg.

In the 50 years of his photography career, Neal Preston has had almost every rock icon since the 1960s in front of his lens: Led Zeppelin, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, Queen - the list reads like a "Who's Who” of rock history. His legendary archive includes around 100,000 photographs and is one of the most important in the music industry. TV shows, films or booklets use his photographs. They are also printed in numerous magazines, newspapers and books. From December 8th you can admire Neal Preston's pictures in the Auditorium Hamburg - in large format. The Preston works will be hanging in the Hamburg Auditorium until January 21, 2023.

The exhibiting Limelight Gallery is a subsidiary of the company Lightpower, whose "Lightpower Collection" is one of the most extensive collections of Rock'n'Roll photographs worldwide. All proceeds from sales of fine art prints and books go to charitable foundations within the events industry.

Visiting the exhibition in the Hamburg Auditorium is free of charge. The evening kick-off event, also free of charge, begins on December 8th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Colleagues from Limelight Gallery will be there and happy to answer questions and share stories about the images.
