JBL's origins date back to 1925, when James B. Lansing discovered his passion for pure sound. With technical skill and pioneering spirit, he founded the Lansing Manufacturing Company (LMC) and created groundbreaking loudspeaker drivers, including the popular Iconic system of 1937.

In the 1930s, Lansing revolutionized sound technology, particularly in the film business, with the Shearer-Lansing system. Even in the rock 'n' roll era, JBL produced groundbreaking loudspeakers such as the D130, which was appreciated by music greats such as Leo Fender.

The collaboration with Capitol Records in the 1960s led to the development of monitor speakers and laid the foundation for JBL's professional audio technology. The company has been part of the Harman International Group since 1969, where it continues the tradition of high-quality audio products under the banner of the Harman Luxury Group.

JBL continues its legacy through outstanding models such as Everest, the new edition of the L 100 and the 43xx studio series. The Synthesis Series offers high-end audio solutions for discerning home theater and music lovers with premium speakers, amplifiers and digital audio processors, underscoring JBL's reputation for sonic innovation and the highest quality.
