Founded by Peter Lyngdorf, a true veteran of the audio scene, Lyngdorf Audio continues to take unconventional paths, redefining the boundaries of audio technology. Lyngdorf products were already equipped with fully digital signal processing and a room correction system when most other hifi products were still purely analogue. Digital technology has changed the world of hifi. And Lyngdorf has accompanied this change from the very beginning and has pushed ahead with groundbreaking technologies.

But the best possible sound can only be achieved if the listening room 'plays along'. That is why we have developed RoomPerfect™. RoomPerfect™ determines both the tonal characteristics of the loudspeakers and the acoustic properties of the listening room in an automated measurement. The audio output is then adjusted to both in such a way that the sound of your own system is shown to its best advantage.
Another important Lyngdorf technology is ICC technology (Intersample Clipping Correction). This technology recognises clipped areas in the music signal, reconstructs the original information and thus removes the unpleasant sound components caused by clipping.
