MANGER
The hi-fi manufactory Manger was founded in the 70s in Lower Franconia, more precisely in Mellrichstadt, by Josef W. Manger. There, new types of loudspeakers are developed and built that work according to the principle of the human hearing mechanism. The realization that instruments played back via loudspeakers lose a lot of their natural sound was the motivation for Josef Manger and his daughter Daniela Manger, who today runs the hi-fi company.
A plate membrane was developed that behaves electrically like a resistor, but is able to play in time. This patented construction is the Manger sound transducer, the absolutely innovative heart of all Manger loudspeakers, which are handmade in Germany.
The decisive factor in the development of the Manger sound transducer was the consistent departure from the more than 100-year-old transducer principle of conventional loudspeakers and thus the abandonment of the piston-shaped movements with their faulty back and forth overshoots. The Manger sound converter embodies the vibration-free radiation principle in perfection.
In the meantime, the Manger loudspeakers, and with them the Manger sound converter, can be found among music and design lovers all over the world. They are used in floorstanding loudspeakers such as the s2 or the p1, or in compact loudspeakers such as the c1 or the z1. With the w1, there is now also a wall speaker in the Lower Franconia portfolio. One thing, however, is clear: the Manger technology makes the difference and allows music to be balm for our souls with its absolutely authentic sound.
