T+A has been manufacturing hi-fi products in Herford, East Westphalia, since 1978; initially loudspeakers, and since the early 80s amplifiers and other electronics have been added to the range. Founder and owner Siegfried Amft knows exactly what he wants to offer. Honest engineering products, with the latest technology and at a reasonable price. Affordable high end from Germany, that's what the brand stands for worldwide.
As a genuine family business, T+A is very conscious of its own tradition, and treats it with care. Technical innovations are carefully considered and then - when they are mature - implemented consistently and in line with the latest developments. The best possible sound quality is always right at the top of the list of requirements.
In this way, the Herford-based company has developed a considerable product portfolio. Starting with the complete systems of the Caruso series, through the compact components of the 8-series and the timelessly elegant R-series, right up to the powerful HV-series - the products from T+A always set standards in their respective classes, and are showered with test victories, awards and distinctions all over the world.
The Herford-based developers have no difficulty in bridging the gap between tradition and modernity, and feel equally at home in digital and analogue technology. For example, with the R-series the T+A customer can easily cover everything from vinyl records (G 2000 R) to hires streams (MP 2000 R Mk2) which are available today as music sources.
