DELA C100 – High-end RJ45 Ethernet cable
The C100 Ethernet cable is an RJ45 cable specifically designed for network audio, offering the highest transmission quality and interference immunity. It is ideal for use with DELA network switches and music libraries.
Important features
Asymmetric grounding design:
Although the cable conforms to Cat.7 specifications, the grounding is only connected on the side with the DELA logo, while the other side remains floating. This minimizes the risk of ground loops. The cable itself is designed as Cat.6A UTP.
Director:
The internal conductors are made of oxygen-free copper (OFC, solid wire) for optimal signal transmission.
Double shielding:
The flexible cable has double shielding that effectively prevents crosstalk (ANEXT).
Gold-plated, shielded connectors:
The specially designed connectors feature a robust locking mechanism and triple-thickness gold plating. The grounding contacts are gold-plated on both the sides and back to ensure a secure connection to the device shield.
Braided sheath:
The mesh coating prevents knotting, is less adhesive than vinyl and makes it easier to handle, while also providing a high-quality appearance.
