Designed from the ground up for discerning music lovers, the new models, such as the JBL Summit Pumori, combine state-of-the-art driver technology with a finely tuned housing design.
One highlight is the patented D2815K compression driver, which, with its dual diaphragm and dual motor design, delivers crystal-clear highs with impressive dynamics.
In combination with the large-format HDI™ horn made of Sonoglass®, an exceptionally precise sound radiation with a wide sweet spot is created.
The sonic foundation is formed by powerful midrange and bass drivers, whose triple-layer hybrid carbon cellulose composite membranes ensure maximum rigidity, minimal distortion and excellent impulse response.
Thanks to the 8-inch midrange driver and the 10-inch woofer, a natural richness of sound unfolds with noticeable depth and structure – even at high volumes.
Sophisticated crossover network for maximum control
The specially developed MultiCap™ crossover network is responsible for the precise signal distribution.
It replaces conventional large capacitors with a multitude of smaller components, thus ensuring lower electrical losses and better energy transfer.
The result: increased clarity, improved dynamics and a homogeneous transition between the frequency ranges.
Design that makes sound visible
Beyond the technology, the new Summit series impresses with its striking, curved case featuring high-gloss surfaces and elegant accents in Summit Platinum or Gold.
Inside, multiple bracing and damped wall constructions ensure minimal cabinet resonances.
The overall acoustic concept is complemented by specially developed JBL | IsoAcoustic® Isolation Feet, which effectively decouple the speaker from the surface it stands on – for a clearly defined sound image with more depth and spatial imaging.
