Dynaudio was always a little ahead of its time. Even the first Dynaudio loudspeakers were a real surprise back then. Technical innovations were hidden behind the classic Danish real wood cabinet. The results of research prove that frequency response is not everything, but that time response and dynamic behaviour also play an important role in music reproduction.
Dynaudio started in 1977 with the P-Series. In 1983, the era of success culminated in the Consequence, an exceptional loudspeaker that achieved worldwide recognition. In the meantime, the Consequence has become a coveted rarity. The first high-end compact loudspeaker was presented by the Danes a few years later in 1989. The Special One integrated the best possible chassis, materials and components.
Much time has passed since then and the Dynaudio brand has established itself as a synonym for high quality sound. Further successful series are the Evidence, the Confidence or the Focus series. The drivers have been constantly improved and the extremely massive, resonance-damping baffle construction is unrivalled on the high-end market.
But even today Dynaudio knows how to compete in the hi-fi market: With the Heritage compact speakers, limited to 2,500 pairs, or the new Emit series, you can always discover something new about your favourite music and realise how good your music collection really is. It is the declared goal of the Dynaudio staff to achieve the best results and to keep developing innovative technologies.
