After the closure of the AKG company in Vienna, a dedicated team decided to create something new and exciting. This vision became reality in July 2017 when Austrian Audio opened its doors. The young company proudly continues the tradition of "Made in Austria" while breaking new technological ground to create sustainable innovations.

With a wealth of experience and a firm mission of "Making Passion Heard", the team set out to face the industry giants. Austrian Audio is determined to develop products that meet high sonic and technical standards.

Led by a core team of 22 former AKG employees who brought expertise in management, acoustics, electronics, test and measurement, mechanical design, wireless technology, and software and firmware, the company is growing steadily and organically.

Austrian Audio draws on a pool of skills, knowledge and tradition with over 350 years of combined experience. But they do not see themselves as just heirs to their past. Their journey into the future has only just begun and they invite everyone to join them on this journey.

In the heart of the music city of Vienna, they developed products such as the outstanding headphones "The Composer" and the powerful headphone amplifier "Full Score One". These products combine sound quality and engineering at the highest level.

The experienced engineering team at Austrian Audio now has the freedom to let their creativity run wild. They develop first-class components not only for sound engineers, musicians and producers, but also for music lovers who value both tradition and have their eyes firmly set on the future.
