The WireWorld Helicon OFC speaker cable is a sophisticated combination of intelligent design, high-quality materials, and practical flexibility. Originally designed for internal speaker construction, its sonic superiority has also established it as an external speaker cable—a testament to the quality of its construction.
Inside, the proven Dual DNA Helix® design ensures precise and clean signal routing. This sophisticated architecture effectively minimizes distortion and loss – resulting in clear, dynamic sound with high transparency and attention to detail.
A clear advantage: Compared to the original Helicon 16, this cable features twice as many OFC (oxygen-free copper) strands , giving the sound additional openness and expressiveness. Vocals sound more natural, instruments become more tangible—the music noticeably comes to life.
Its everyday usability is also impressive: With its pleasant flexibility, the cable can be installed easily, even in demanding environments. The 16AWG conductors are easy to strip and work perfectly with the optional WireWorld banana plugs or cable lugs. A plus for anyone who values a clean installation.
The Composilex® 5 outer shell provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference and maintains signal purity. This is complemented by silver- and gold-plated crimp contacts that ensure a reliable, low-loss connection.
