Avanti Powertrain

The Avanti now also receives the Powertrain rating. Equipped with the HHCM SL midrange driver and a new crossover, the Avanti achieves the next Audio Physic sound level.

Thanks to the special bead construction of the midrange driver, it does not require a spider, which means that the structure behind the membrane is much more streamlined, which in turn prevents compression effects.

The modern sound converter

The aim of the Audio Physic development team is to produce modern sound transducers that are equally impressive in terms of looks, technology and sound.
The Avanti Power Train not only impresses with its elegant appearance - be it in fine veneer or as a high-quality high-gloss glass version. Rather, it combines a variety of groundbreaking Audio Physic technologies in its slim body

The Avanti Power Train also benefits from targeted stiffening of the body. Reinforcements made of open-pored ceramic foam reduce the partial vibrations of the housing to the lowest possible values.

Special attention was paid to the bass. This is where the strongest forces are at work. The newly developed, very powerful woofer, a 21.5 centimeter long-throw chassis, is not located on the side or front of the loudspeaker as usual, but works invisibly inside the housing. The sound is radiated through two matched openings near the floor. This unusual construction has several advantages. For one thing, the frequency response of the Avanti Powertrain reaches amazingly low while remaining extremely contoured. On the other hand, the loudspeaker is less critical in terms of installation than classic designs. Even close to the wall, the sound transducers impress with sensitivity and clarity over the entire frequency spectrum.

Noble optics - as usual

The Avanti Powertrain is available in elegant veneers as well as in a high-gloss glass version. In the glass version, the loudspeakers benefit once again from the intelligent, three-layer sandwich construction that Audio Physic has already successfully introduced in various other models. The body is stiffer, disturbing partial vibrations are even lower. Influences that are harmful to the sound, as are generally associated with glass, do not even arise in the sandwich construction.

The connection panel of the Avanti Powertrain is equipped with the highest quality WBT nextgen™-PlasmaProtect™ pole terminals. They are connected with special structure-borne noise dampers to the aluminum base plate, which is also coated to dampen resonance. Here, too, micro-vibrations are specifically dampened.
On request, the Avanti Powertrain can be supplied ex works with a bi-wiring terminal.

The chic trusses of the Avanti Powertrain make it easier to set up and guarantee a perfect stand on any surface. Thanks to the integrated M8 thread, the Avanti can easily be upgraded with the Audio Physic VCF II M8 Magnetic plus feet. Their trend-setting construction allows a noticeably increased image fidelity and reproduction authenticity. In addition, the VCF II Magnetic M8 plus feet protect sensitive floors from scratches.
