With its strong technical foundation, the AV 20 is based on the award-winning flagship model, the AV 10, but remains somewhat more compact and more attractively priced. Integration into an existing system—for example, in combination with the matching Marantz AMP 20 power amplifier—is effortless, allowing audiophiles to build their own flexible and powerful home theater setup.
Thanks to its 13.4-channel preamplifier outputs, the AV 20 offers maximum design freedom for a wide variety of speaker configurations – from 7.1.6 to 7.4.6. All common 3D audio formats such as Dolby Atmos™, DTS:X Pro™, IMAX Enhanced™ , and AURO-3D™ are supported, adding a new dimension to the home theater experience.
Another highlight is the support of the latest room correction: Audyssey MultEQ XT32 is already integrated, while a paid upgrade to Dirac Live , including Bass Control and Active Room Treatment , is possible - for precise acoustic adaptation to every room.
Seven HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs—all with 8K support —offer future-proof connectivity. HEOS Built-in integration allows seamless music streaming via Wi-Fi and multi-room playback. This makes the AV 20 a central hub for audiophiles.
High-quality XLR and RCA outputs enable connection to external power amplifiers and guarantee maximum flexibility. The optimized HDAM-SA3 modules ensure minimal distortion and particularly fast signal processing.
