Over a decade of streaming know-how

The AXN10 features the latest 4th generation StreamMagic module and accompanying software. It's a system developed by Cambridge Audio in London - for uncompromising, rock-solid hi-fi music streaming. It's intuitive to use and capable of reproducing music with impressive clarity – in PCM up to 768kHz and 32-bit or DSD512 (you won't need more!).

The convenience of streaming music was once marred by not-so-great sound quality and availability. But that's no longer the case, thanks to faster broadband, better codecs, a wider choice of services, and because the AXN10 brings the acclaimed StreamMagic streaming platform to many more people.

Whatever you wish

Out of the box, the AXN10 can access free internet radio and subscription streaming services such as Spotify Connect, Tidal, Qobuz and Deezer with the best sound quality. Apple Airplay2 and Chromecast built-in give you access to Apple Music, BBC Sounds and more. The AXN10 is also Roon Ready, allowing you to consolidate your digital music into a single magazine-style service, regardless of source.

Internet radio, live broadcast

It's just like radio, but it's broadcast over the internet rather than broadcast. You can listen to your favorite radio stations, special Internet radio stations (like Soho Radio and NTS) and many more radio programs from around the world - all for free. Who knows what this indie show from New Zealand has to offer? In addition, many stations have a quality that is far above that of digital radio.

Made to share

If friends drop by who don't have the StreamMagic app, they can share their latest music with you via Bluetooth. Alternatively, you can easily listen to high-resolution FLAC files from a USB stick together on your hi-fi system by plugging the stick into the USB port on the back of the AXN10.

With the AXN10 you get the best of both worlds: you hear the music in incredible high-resolution quality and you don't have to worry about where to put the CD set.

Complete control

Interacting with AXN10 couldn't be easier. The StreamMagic app allows intuitive control of all connected sources. You can use it to create playlists, adjust settings and browse albums conveniently from your phone or tablet. Alternatively, the AXN10 has a series of buttons that give you direct access to your favorite playlists and internet radio stations.

Top sound via cable

If you turn the AXN10 around, you'll notice the upside down labeling above the connectors - so you can easily connect it to your amp by bending over it. There is an RCA output, a coaxial and an optical digital output, a USB connection and two WLAN antennas for your home network or an Ethernet connection if you prefer a cable connection.

Designed to last

Like the other models in the AX series, the AXN10 is also kept in our house design. The minimalist aluminum bezel in moon gray, the black steel housing and the "floating" base ensure an elegant, timeless look. With its classic hi-fi device width of 430 mm, the AXN10 fits seamlessly into an AX system and breathes new life into it. Thanks to online updates, the AXN10 will be able to stream for many years to come.
