Plus, thanks to the built-in headphone output, you don't have to turn on the amplifier just to power your headphones, making for a more environmentally friendly music experience.

If some records in your collection are already worn out, the subsonic filter suppresses low-frequency hum that can be caused by irregularities in your record. Added to this is the balance control, which handles potential pickup imbalances (which could otherwise result in a difference between left and right channels). The result is a multi-faceted experience with accurate sound.
