The ND8006 is designed to meet all of the needs of the modern digital music listener, providing features that would normally require two or three separate audio components. Based on the successful Marantz NA8005 and SA8005 models, but equipped with a complete overhaul of the functions and audio design, it combines a CD player with an interface for digital sources - thus enabling playback from the home network, via USB memory or online -Sources such as streaming services and internet radio, via the HEOS multiroom system and via DAC functionality for direct connection of computers or other devices. The Marantz ND8006 is a complete digital music source player, ie the only audio component that is needed for contemporary listening needs. Regardless of whether you have music stored on a CD, a NAS drive or a computer or whether you prefer music 'online' via Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Juke! or Tidal: the ND8006 reproduces them in outstanding sound quality.

HEOS music streaming
Thanks to the support of the company's own HEOS multiroom system - which is integrated into a Marantz stereo product for the first time - music can even be played in the whole house or, alternatively, in individual rooms via other wireless HEOS components such as soundbars and WLAN speakers. It can be controlled conveniently via the free HEOS app or, in the future, optionally via voice control via Amazon Alexa (after the update, probably in spring 2018).

High resolution audio
With the ND8006 you can enjoy high-resolution music files (Hi-Res audio) via USB devices or network hard drives (NAS). These include the following formats: WAV, MP3, AAC, WMA, FLAC, ALAC, and DSD. This guarantees audio streaming for hi-fi enthusiasts, also with gapless playback. In addition, the model has two optical inputs as well as a coaxial and a USB Type-B digital input with noise suppression circuit - with the best quality thanks to the support of Hi-Res audio up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD 11.2 MHz.

Marantz Musical Digital Filtering (MMDF)
The renowned Marantz sound quality is guaranteed by the Marantz Musical Digital Filtering, which guarantees precise processing of all digital signals. A shielded toroidal transformer, in turn, minimizes internal noise.

WLAN, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2
The integrated WLAN with dual band support and two antennas on the housing ensure optimal network stability, especially with high WLAN density. In addition, the ND8006 offers both Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth for quickly and easily playing music from portable devices.

Guaranteed sound quality
Various 'ON / OFF' options are integrated in the network CD player in order to generate the best possible sound by switching off functions that are currently not required. This is the case, for example, with Bluetooth and WLAN connectivity and with the headphone stage, which has its own 'H / P OFF' mode.

Audiophile D / A conversion (DAC) and unique Marantz HDAM technology
The built-in audiophile ESS9016 Saber DAC with dual quartz clocks processes all digital signals extremely precisely. A noise isolating circuit on the USB type B input ('computer audio') and one on the digital audio inputs (two optical, one coaxial) block interference from connected components for signal purity, while the analog circuit uses strictly selected components and the patented ones Marantz Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Modules (HDAMs) used.

High quality headphone amplifier
The ND8006 has a dedicated headphone amplifier with fully discrete components on board, including the same HDAM-S2 technology as the main audio circuitry, plus selectable gain. This enables it to drive a wide variety of headphones.

Fixed and variable output terminals
The ND8006 has two analog outputs, one with a fixed level for connection to an integrated amplifier and one with a variable output level, to which power amplifiers or active speakers can be connected directly.
