DIRAC LIVE® ROOM CORRECTION

With the MDC2 BluOS-D module it is possible for the first time to use Dirac Live® room correction in a NAD stereo system. First, the room acoustics are analyzed using the supplied calibrated microphone and the intuitive Dirac app, and the resulting correction data is transferred to the MDC2 BluOS-D module. Dirac Live® not only corrects peaks and dips in the frequency response, but also optimizes the impulse response by learning how sounds reflect off different surfaces in the listening room. Up to five Dirac profiles can be saved for different listening positions and room conditions. The audible improvements are significantly clearer bass response and more accurate imaging and tonal fidelity on music and movie soundtracks.

BLUOS MUSIC STREAMING

The MDC2 BluOS-D module supports high-resolution music streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz over the BluOS™ platform. The app for operating the system is available for iOS, macOS, Android and Windows and offers access to hundreds of internet radio stations and more than 20 streaming services. Up to 63 BluOS™-capable players can be controlled in the BluOS™ network, and integration into home control systems from ELAN, Crestron, Control4, Lutron, RTI and others is also possible.

In addition to the latest WiFi and Ethernet protocols, the MDC2 module also supports Apple AirPlay2, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. Bidirectional Bluetooth® aptX® HD enables simultaneous sending and receiving of audio data in the highest quality, a USB port allows the connection of a USB data carrier. And, of course, local servers with your own music collection can also be integrated into the network.
