The RC-1590 stereo preamplifier is designed for the highest audio performance, offering a perfect level of control and flexibility. It all begins with the high-voltage power supply, consisting of two Rotel toroidal transformers for maximum efficiency and optimal isolation between the digital and analog circuits. These transformers are part of the reference power supply, consisting of digital and analog control circuits with special slit-foil capacitors. Slit-foil capacitors offer fast charge and discharge times with low signal loss, ensuring precise bass performance and maximum dynamic range.
Rotel engineers have developed a reference stereo preamplifier that serves as the perfect partner for the new RB-1590 power amplifier. The components and circuit layout were carefully tested and selected during numerous listening sessions to achieve the highest precision. The analog and digital circuits were each developed by dedicated Rotel teams. The analog inputs are ultra-low-noise and feature a high-performance MM phono section. The digital inputs are fully isolated and feature a top-of-the-line digital-to-analog converter (24-bit/768 kHz DAC).
The RC-1590 is fully equipped with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs, a precision volume IC from TI, an unregulated line output, two mono subwoofer outputs, digital outputs (coax and optical), digital inputs (3 x coax and 3 x optical), Aux, CD, and tuner as analog stereo inputs, internal Bluetooth (supports aptX and standard Bluetooth) with external, rear antenna, front USB for iPod/iPhone/iPad, rear PC USB with 24 bit/192 kHz DSD (Windows) and DoP (Mac, DSD over PCM).
Other key features include a remote control, 2 x 12V trigger outputs, a dimmable display, an automatic power-off function, RS232 interface and IP control for automation systems, internet-based software updates, Rotel Link connectivity, a detachable power cable, an external IR input, and a front-panel 3.5mm headphone output. The RC-1590 is the ideal device for the discerning music enthusiast and is in a class of its own with an unbeatable price/performance ratio.
