The ultimate wideband headphone amplifier. Compared to the SRM-006tII, the SRM-007tII offers significantly more power reserves, with four instead of two tubes and a more powerful power supply. This amplifier is therefore ideal for use with the STAX SR-007 Mk.2 headphones or their predecessors, as these headphones require somewhat higher levels than, for example, the STAX Lambda series. But the SR-007tII also represents the pinnacle of sonic excellence for fans of the Lambda SR-404 sound. The set of the SR-404 and SRM-007tII costs €3,243, compared to €2,236 for the SR-404 and SRM-006tII combo.

Stax SRM 007t amplifier with tube output stage

The Stax SRM 007t utilizes the acclaimed STAX output stage with high-voltage-rated 6FQ7/6CG7 tubes in parallel. The low output impedance is particularly well-suited for driving Stax headphone speakers.

Symmetrical input stage with low-noise dual FET

The Stax SRM 007t features a fully balanced input circuit with no transformers or inverters in the signal path. A high-quality 4-way potentiometer is used for the XLR input to prevent any sonic limitations.

Hybrid DC amplifier

The consistent avoidance of unwanted coupling capacitors in the DC-coupled hybrid arrangement of high-quality FETs and tubes achieves a clean, uncolored sound.
