Core Infinity - The future starts now

From the beginnings of the D-Premier to the present day, the expert systems have been designed for optimal scalability and adaptability. This makes them unique: they are a statement against calculated obsolescence. Core Infinity opens up new possibilities for Expert Pro and leads you into a new era of music streaming. No matter which audiophile playback device or online music service you use, the various streaming protocols integrated in Core Infinity allow you to enjoy your music easily and fully on your Expert Pro.

Equipped with the latest Devialet operating system and future-proof computing power, Core Infinity is designed for a long service life. The board has a quad-core ARM processor with a clock frequency of 1 GHz, supported by 1 GB RAM-DDR3 memory and 4 GB flash memory. But that was not enough for us. The main CPU is surrounded by the following components:

An FPGA specifically designed to provide the Devialet operating system with additional computing power, optimize audio signal routing and revise the clock distribution for minimal digital jitter. The qualitative improvement of the audio signal is considerable.
A second audio DSP (digital signal processor), together with the DSP on the motherboard, offers an increased headroom to support future signal processing functions.
3 ASRC (Asynchronous Sample Rate Converter) to leave enough space for future developments and especially for compatibility with other sources.

An improved USB interface that is tailored to future audio formats. Core also offers a robust network architecture that is ideal for high-resolution music streaming:

Core Infinity opens Expert Pro for the world of music streaming and offers you a variety of leading streaming protocols. As a UPnP renderer, your Expert Pro can stream music up to 24 bit / 192 kHz from any UPnP compatible application. With AirPlay © you can stream your favorite music in CD quality from any iOS or Mac OS-compatible device or via iTunes to Windows-based devices. With Spotify Connect you can use all features of your Spotify Premium membership with Expert Pro, including individual volume control and automatic wake-up function. Finally, our patented AIR © technology turns your Expert Pro into a virtual sound card output for your preferred audiophile playback devices with up to 24 bits / 192 kHz streaming in bit-precise mode. Future Bluetooth functions for Core Infinity will help make Expert Pro even more open and universally usable in the future.

How does the upgrade work?

Place the upgrade in the shopping cart and tell us the name, the serial number and, if possible, the date of purchase of your device in the Comment field at the checkout. If you have disposed of the original packaging of your device, we will be happy to send you a transport packaging free of charge to ensure the greatest possible safety. A small note is enough.
