Why Marantz

High performance amplifier with fully discrete current feedback and HDAM-S3
Current feedback amplification is a well-known circuit technology from Marantz. It is designed to meet the requirements of high-resolution music formats and enables broadband playback. The impedance at the current feedback point is limited, causing very low phase switching. Marantz amplifiers equipped with current feedback can minimize phase compensation via NFB (negative feedback). This optimizes the signal path and leads to fast, excellent transient response and first-class sound transparency across the full bandwidth. In contrast to conventional voltage feedback, current feedback makes the power amplifiers almost insensitive to difficult loudspeaker loads.

Support for high-res audio formats

The PM7000N decodes high-resolution audio files in lossless ALAC, FLAC and WAV formats up to 24 bit/192 kHz as well as DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz (SACD audiophile format). Improved integrated phono preamplifier

Like all Marantz integrated amplifiers, the PM7000N is equipped with a high-quality phono preamplifier, which now has a new input stage with FET (field effect transistor). This increases the impedance, simplifying the signal path by eliminating coupling capacitors and minimizing distortion and noise. The result is the purest sound that can be heard.
