Rotel RA-1572

Integrated amplifiers are the control center in HiFi systems and, thanks to modern electronics, offer astonishing sound quality at an affordable price. Since the introduction of digital sources, the scope of an integrated amplifier has expanded significantly. Rotel's RA-1572 is the best example of the successful merging of classic analog circuits with the latest digital technology.
As is typical for Rotel, the RA-1572 has a powerful power supply unit with a toroidal transformer specially developed and manufactured by Rotel, which optimally supplies all circuits with power. Thanks to its ring-shaped design, it reduces magnetic radiation that could interfere with the sensitive audio signal.

All subsequent power supply components, such as B. the T-Network capacitors, work within an extremely narrow tolerance range. They guarantee a precise power supply to all areas and thus interference-free audio reproduction.
The input section of the RA-1572 is significantly more flexible than that of many other integrated amplifiers. Since digital sources are very popular today, it has an audiophile analog input stage and a high-performance D / A converter from AKM (32 bit / 768 kHz). The digital inputs available include a DSD-capable PC-USB input (32 bit / 384 kHz). A USB input on the front provides a connection for iPod, iPhone or iPad. The Bluetooth input supports aptX, so that a first-class audio performance is guaranteed when connected to compatible devices. In addition, the RA-1572 is equipped with two coaxial inputs (Cinch) and two optical inputs (TOSlink) for the connection of LPCM music sources, including common streaming devices up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. To further simplify operation, this integrated amplifier offers Fixed Gain and Auto On options for the digital inputs when devices with their own volume control are connected. In addition to the conventional cinch, two balanced XLR sockets are available as analog inputs.
The discreet class AB output stage ensures precise playback on almost every loudspeaker, regardless of the input source. If both channels are active, a constant output power of 120 watts per channel at 8 ohms is available. Additional connection options are provided by two mono sub-outputs on the rear of the device.
The RA-1572 is also extremely user-friendly with two 12V trigger connections for switching other components on and off, an easy-to-read VFD display for setup, an Ethernet connection for internet-based software updates and RS232 and IP control options.
