Description Audionet AMP I V2

The Audionet AMP I V2 is a stereo power amplifier which, thanks to its technology, has unique sound properties. A revelation for connoisseurs.

What is the secret of a stereo power amplifier that is as convincing as the Audionet AMP I V2? Is it the highly complex circuit technology? Is it the electrolytic capacitors, with a dielectric made of silk, which are only available in this quality in Japan? Or is it the perfectionist workmanship of all individual parts, right up to the massive front panel? Three times yes! But there is much more to it than processing the highest quality components with the greatest possible care. It takes passion to build one of the best power amplifiers the market has ever seen. It takes the will and the enthusiasm to create something really great. You can hear all of this when you use the Audionet AMP I V2 to enjoy your music. All of this carries over into your living space, resonates in every detail of the music that unfolds in your mind's eye.

The audio culture of the Audionet AMP I V2 is characterized by an emotional, honest and complete variety. It is fast, has a very fine resolution and shines with a wealth of details. He plays absolutely relaxed, without any severity or sharpness. It reproduces dynamic jumps with the necessary punch without just being loud. Its bass is determined and contoured. The Audionet AMP I V2 creates a strikingly realistic plasticity. As a machine, the amplifier takes a back seat and creates the space in which the music can unfold freely: in all its art and emotionality.

Technical specifications

The Audionet AMP I V2 represents the latest state of our worldwide award-winning ULA technology (Ultra-Linear-Amplifier). This highly complex circuit topology, originally designed for medical technology, provides measurement results that mark the limits of what is feasible today. Signal impurities can almost no longer be detected even under the highest loads or in other borderline situations, while the outstanding return loss ensures that the loudspeakers play cleanly to their limits.

At Audionet AMP I V2, only the best parts and components are used at every sound-critical point, which we can procure worldwide and some of which have been specially manufactured for us. For example, the filter capacitors are specially manufactured for us according to our specifications. Furthermore, we obtain a large part of our electrolytic capacitors from an audiophile manufacturer in Japan, rely on capacitors made of mica, build in handmade film capacitors from Germany, use a high-quality silver / gold alloy for our internal wiring and use the best available connection systems from our colleagues at WBT in Essen.

The Audionet AMP I V2 is magnetically and capacitively optimized and built as a double mono power amplifier. This reduces the effects of magnetic fields and electrical interference radiation to a minimum and largely eliminates interactions between the gain channels and the input, correction and power levels.

In order to optimize the high-frequency properties, the circuits are miniaturized as much as possible. Other signal paths are kept to a minimum and contain no sound-critical components such as coils, chokes or relays.

The input stages are double differential precursors with monolithic double FETs. They are supplied separately by an 80 VA toroidal transformer with extra windings for each channel. Your gain bandwidth product is greater than one gigahertz. Double bootstrapping decouples them from the performance levels. Each output stage has four power MOSFETs. Your quiescent current is actively regulated and amounts to 0.4 A. Two encapsulated toroidal transformers with 700 VA each and four fast and pulse-proof high-current capacitors with a total of 188,000 uF filter capacity supply them. Distortions are linearized locally in real time with a unique level of correction. The voltages are smoothed as quickly as possible with discretely constructed and optimized MOSFET regulators.

A control unit with its own power supply monitors DC, HF, temperature and overload, if necessary switches off the Audionet AMP I V2 on the mains side, thus ensuring maximum operational reliability.

particularities

  • Double mono construction for maximum channel separation

  • Audionet ULA technology (Ultra-Linear-Amplifier) for real-time linearization of distortions

  • Magnetically and capacitively optimized structure

  • DC coupling without sound-damaging capacitors or coils, shortest signal paths

  • No relays in the output circuit

  • Protection circuit with its own power supply unit for high frequency, direct voltage, overtemperature and overload

  • Two 700 VA toroidal transformers, a total of 188,000 µF screening capacity

  • Separate power supply for input and power levels

  • Remote switch-on via Audionet-Link (light guide)
