The Qx card is a high-performance DAC module with a crystal controlled anti-jitter circuit to eliminate timing errors in order to obtain a clean output signal. The Cyrus Pre.2 DAC Qx is the perfect partner for our CD players and streamers.
Like all other Cyrus products, the Cyrus Pre.2 DAC Qx can be controlled via the unique MC-Bus system.
QXR The new QXR card is able to process PCM audio up to 768k at 32bit depth and 'native' DSD 512 via the USB input. The highly specific ESS DAC uses asynchronous upsampling to deliver a sublime audio signal regardless of the source. Even via the lower resolution digital S / PDIF and Toslink interfaces, the incoming signals are locked again to significantly reduce the noisy jitter and deliver a refined, clean audio signal to the preamplifier stages of the updated product. The improved headphone amplifier, which is included in the scope of delivery of the upgrade, reduces the noise level and offers a significantly improved dynamic range. It is able to deliver 138 mW per channel at 16 ohms loads and can comfortably operate headphones with impedances of up to 64 ohms. |
