The CD 6.3 Ovation Media & CD Player from AVM sets standards with its innovative transistor technology. Equipped with a TEAC Pure CD drive provided exclusively for AVM, which is spring-loaded and operated via a slot-in mechanism, this device offers the highest precision and durability.

The digital inputs include two S/PDIF coaxial, two S/PDIF optical, one USB-B asynchronous (galvanically isolated) and one AES/EBU connection. The signal processing takes place with a resolution of up to 192 kHz / 24 bit, with a choice between up- or downsampling of all incoming signals from 44.1 kHz/16 bit to 192 kHz/24 bit. Two selectable digital filters (smooth and steep) allow individual adjustment to suit your listening taste.

A low-interference power supply is ensured by the separate installation of the CD drive and audio electronics. The comprehensive menu offers numerous functions, including the individual naming of inputs. A large, blue graphic display, which is dimmable, ensures a clear and user-friendly display.

The CD 6.3 Ovation comes in a high-quality AVM OVATION flight case, which ensures additional protection and safe transport.

With regard to the network connection, it should be noted that Wi-Fi only works under optimal conditions. A wired LAN connection is recommended as it not only offers the most stable connection to the AVM X-Stream Engine, but also offers sound advantages. AVM does not guarantee uninterrupted Wi-Fi operation as external factors such as security settings and the structure of the customer's network are outside of its control.

For a stable connection, we recommend placing a WiFi repeater with a LAN output socket near the AVM device and establishing a connection via a LAN cable. Care should be taken to place WiFi routers or repeaters as far away as possible from sensitive record players, phono preamplifiers and their connecting cables in order to avoid unwanted interference.
