The player's heavy steel housing carries a drive developed by Rotel, which specializes exclusively in playing compact discs. The CD11MKII's smooth loading mechanism, precise laser tracking and quiet motor control ensure seamless, worry-free playback of your CD collection.
Digital-to-analog conversion is handled by a top-of-the-line Texas Instruments PCM5102A 32-bit/384kHz DAC, which works with specially tuned digital low-pass filters. This sound-first design reproduces music on a large, open soundstage with exceptional detail, precision, and finesse.
A linear power supply powers isolated outputs for CD motor control and vital audio circuitry, reducing noise and distortion and reproducing even the smallest details of your CD collection.
Intuitive front panel CD controls and the included remote control ensure easy operation. The front panel graphical display shows the playback status and CD metadata, including title and artist.
The CD11MKII can be used as a disc transporter via the digital coaxial output. A 12V trigger input and RS232 port on the rear allow for seamless integration into even the most complex systems.
The CD11MKII is available in black and silver finishes.
