T+A CALA CDR V 1.4 Streaming CD Receiver

The larger model of the CALA® receiver is the CALA® CDR. In terms of concept and equipment, it is structured like the CALA® SR, but also has a high-quality CD drive, power amplifiers that are twice as powerful and a high-performance power supply. More than 100 watts of continuous power are available per channel and also allow the use of large loudspeakers. The housing is therefore larger and heavier, but still very compact and in the same design language and proportions as the CALA® SR. Since both devices are equipped with the same motherboard, they also have the same music sources and connection options.
Thanks to the powerful digital signal processor, operation can be conveniently adjusted to the individual system configuration. For example, inputs that are not required can be switched off and the sensitivity of an analog input can be switched to function as a Phono MM and High Output MC preamplifier. The surround pass-through mode is possible for use in a surround system.
In order to achieve the best possible sound under different installation conditions and also when using smaller speakers, different sound fields are available. The bass management regulates all settings when using subwoofer / satellite systems.
