The Pro-Ject MaiA DS2 is the all-rounder among Pro-Ject's audiophile integrated amplifiers. It impresses with an integrated phono preamplifier, the aptX-capable Bluetooth ® receiver that enables playback from smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers, an integrated D/A converter and the powerful headphone connection. This is also worth a 'HIGHLIGHT' from the Stereoplay magazine!

The Pro-Ject MaiA DS2 works with a powerful digital power amplifier that can provide up to two times 135 watts of continuous power. Digital amplifiers from Pro-Ject have a high level of efficiency: around 80% of the electricity is converted into power. With conventional amplifiers, this value is often less than half. The solid, brushed aluminum housing, available in silver or black, protects against electromagnetic interference and vibrations (microphonics).

The CD drive (without integrated D/A converter) Pro-Ject CD Box DS2 T, which is connected to one of the digital inputs of the Pro-Ject MaiA DS2, is recommended as a natural play partner.

The D/A converter in the Pro-Ject MaiA DS2 is also 'Roon Tested' certified.

Very practical: The amplifier outputs a 12V switching voltage, corresponding to the stand-by button. Connected with switching cables, several devices of the DS2 line can be conveniently switched on and off together with a push of a button on the amplifier or the enclosed remote controls.

Note : Bitstream formats such as Dolby Digital ® or DTS ® are not supported.
