The transformation of an existing audio system into a WLAN audio world of the extra class with the MB50 streaming audio player! This has DTS Play-FI ® so that you can enjoy complete freedom of listening to music at home. After the MB 50 has been integrated into the existing WiFi network, the Apple or Android app is downloaded for streaming. In addition to access to the personal music database, the app supports many streaming services such as: Deezer, Pandora®, Rhapsody®, Songza, Spotify® and TIDAL, depending on local availability. Compared to other streaming options, the great advantage of DTS Play-Fi ® is the lossless playback of up to 16-bit / 48 kHz files. In addition, it supports files up to 24-bit / 192khz, as well as DLNA and commonly used audio formats such as mp3., .M4a, .flac and .wav files.

If there is more than one audio system in the house to be streamed to, the MB50 can easily be connected to each and the music can be passed on to all available audio systems. If different mobile devices are available with the app, different music content can be transmitted to each system at the same time. Analog balanced and unbalanced outputs connect the MB50 to the downstream pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier. In addition to the digital outputs, an analog and two additional digital inputs connect easily e.g. B. a CD player to the MB 50, which then serves as a small preamplifier. With the classic McIntosh glass front and the edges made of brushed aluminum, the device is a valuable addition to any high-end system and, with a width of 29.2 cm, fits perfectly with the MHA150 headphone amplifiers and the MXA70 audio system to provide a complete streaming solution .
