Completely new tweeter with top technologies
The new 600 S3 series introduces a completely new tweeter dome, which
Titanium dome. This replaces the aluminum double dome that was used in
used by previous generations.
The new tweeter benefits from the membrane mounting plate in
the size of the 700 S3 for better, more open dispersion.
It also features a new tweeter grille in the design of the
recently introduced Series 800 Signature. This is acoustically
more open than before and provides even better imaging.
The tweeter is equipped with a significantly extended tube system
which corresponds to the lower resonance frequency of the dome
and results in a freer and more open sound, which
is less 'case-bound'.
The updated housing design features a
improved arrangement of the chassis, with the tweeter and
the chassis for the mid and mid-bass range closer
placed together to create a better musical

stiffer internal bracing.
Continuum woofers and midrange drivers
Continuum membrane chassis are used in every model.
700 S3 magnet systems are used in the woofers/midrange drivers of the
used across the entire product range.
Bass membrane and magnetic drive
Cardboard cone woofers are used in the 603 S3.
The magnet systems originating from the 700 S3 improve
the performance.
Further details and improvements
The new terminals are in design and arrangement
and the contact type were derived from the 700 series.
Improved crossovers
All crossovers receive the improvements with the
Bypass capacitors, which were last used in the 700 series
were used.
