The Confidence 20 is in no way inferior to the larger models in this series in terms of sound quality, passion and performance - all in a compact format suitable for speaker stands.

The speaker stands are not included.

Dynaudio has spent years thinking about how they can further improve confidence in the next generation. And after countless hours of work in development, simulations, tests and measurements in their state-of-the-art Jupiter measuring facility, they have achieved their goal.

The Confidence 20 is - like all other models in the series - equipped with the completely newly developed Esotar3 tweeter (28 mm diameter), a new 18 cm diameter NeoTec MSP woofer and an innovative, downward-firing bass port. Dynaudio was able to implement the latest findings from various areas in their chassis. For example, the tweeter's airflow technology has the rear chamber enlarged and ventilation improved. There is also a completely new element: the resonance-stabilizing inner dome Hexis. The membrane thickness was optimized as part of extensive simulations. Extremely strong neodymium magnets and the new Compex front panel complete the picture.

The new, 28 mm diameter fabric tweeter Esotar3 represents the know-how from more than 40 years of development work at Dynaudio. There are also new findings from the development of the award-winning Esotar Forty tweeter. The result is the best tweeter Dynaudio has ever created. A powerful neodymium magnet system, innovations in airflow guidance, the new, resonance-reducing Hexis inner dome - the sum of all these elements is a loudspeaker that is characterized by detailed, clear and nuanced reproduction.

The heart of the new, 18 cm diameter MSP NeoTec woofer is once again a neodymium system. Here, fiberglass coil carriers ensure optimal rigidity. The voice coil itself is made of aluminum (which provides just the right combination of lightness, rigidity and dampening for a tight, powerful yet controlled bass response). The woofer's entire drive system has been designed to make optimal use of airflow using an innovative new ventilation system integrated directly into the magnet.

As impressive as all of this may sound, the first thing you'll want to know is what it ultimately sounds like. And the simple answer to that question is: 'just like your favorite artist'. Nothing more, nothing less.

Designed and constructed in Denmark
Our Jupiter measuring room is located in the Dynaudio Labs. Here the Confidence was subjected to intensive and comprehensive tests. Hundreds of hours were invested in technical analysis and critical listening. The end result was the best speakers Dynaudio has ever developed.

The new Esotar3 tweeter
The next chapter of a legend. Rich in detail, finesse and performance: the new Esotar3 has been optimized in every respect. An important component of this tweeter is the Hexis inner dome - an ingenious component that reduces unwanted resonances. There are also innovations in material selection, airflow control and other aspects.

Next generation DDC technology
Dynaudio Directivity Control is the technology platform for optimizing sound radiation. For the Confidence, it was rethought again and expanded to include the DDC Lens - a unique waveguide whose special design ensures that the music finds its way to where it should be: to your ears.
