801 D4
The 801 D4 is the flagship of Bowers & Wilkins' new speaker series. The 800 Series Diamond is undergoing further development that has it all. All they know and are: Bowers & Wilkins speaks of the most advanced line of loudspeakers they can create.
The 801 D4 is a pioneer when it comes to high-end solutions. It sets the new standard by which everyone will measure themselves in the years to come. The floorstanding loudspeakers combine the latest technologies from Bowers & Wilkins.

Turbine heads:
The most realistic midrange sound ever, thanks to the all-aluminum turbine head. It houses the unique Continuum midrange cone. Rigid and specially dampened, the cabinet eliminates unwanted and disruptive resonances. However, it is completely separate from the tweeter and bass enclosure.
Matrix:
The new and improved matrix design ensures an even more authentic sound stage. The main stress points of the housing walls are stabilized by aluminum reinforced interlocking plates. Say goodbye to unwanted vibrations.
State-of-the-art housing design:
The housing design of the stereo models has also received a makeover. The wooden top has been replaced with a high-quality aluminum top plate, which ensures greater rigidity and minimizes cabinet vibration. The applications made of Connolly leather provide a noble and luxurious touch.
Tweeter on top design
The tweeter-on-top design features an even more stretched shape with a longer tube system. This not only looks better, but also makes the sound appear even more open in the high-frequency range. The outer casing is even stiffer. The unusual acoustic form is particularly effective in combination with the new two-point decoupling system, which isolates the housing more effectively than ever from the rest of the loudspeaker.
