Subtle or brilliant – musical subtleties taken to the extreme
The DALI KORE sets new standards in the reproduction of musical subtleties. With outstanding impulse fidelity and dynamic poise, it reproduces even the finest tonal nuances—from the subtle pluck of a string to the orchestral climax—with natural ease and exceptional precision.
Balanced Drive SMC™ – Precision in Detail
Two powerful 11.5-inch bass drivers featuring innovative Balanced Drive technology and advanced SMC Gen 2 material deliver a sonic performance with extremely low distortion in the low-frequency range. This is complemented by DALI's first dedicated 7-inch midrange driver, which utilizes the same SMC technology and a paper-wood fiber cone. The lightweight, new rubber surround enables midrange reproduction with exceptional presence and body.
EVO-K hybrid tweeter – airy resolution and width
The latest evolution of DALI's hybrid tweeter technology combines an oversized 35 mm soft dome with a highly efficient planar element. Both components have been completely redesigned to achieve an exceptionally wide and coherent high-frequency imaging. The finest details in the high-frequency range are reproduced openly, nuanced, and with astonishing ease.
SMC-KORE crossovers – sound architecture as an art form
The DALI KORE crossovers were developed with the highest engineering and artistic standards. Featuring the world's first low-loss SMC coils, they enable signal-pure separation of the frequency ranges – without any sonic compromises. The transmission paths remain clear, focused, and completely free of coloration.
Housing construction at reference level
The KORE's base is a 34 kg (75 lb) low-resonance resin composite stand, which provides the 160 kg (350 lb) speaker with maximum structural stability. The non-magnetic enclosure acoustically and mechanically isolates the sensitive drivers from the massive crossover components, preventing the transmission of unwanted resonances and pressure fluctuations.
Form meets function – Danish design craftsmanship
The KORE cabinet is more than just a technical shell: Its six-layer high-gloss lacquer finish, elegantly curved lines, and precise craftsmanship embody the highest Scandinavian design tradition. Inside, molded laminates, separate chambers, targeted stiffeners, and double-flanged bass reflex ports ensure a vibration-free, tonally unadulterated sound.
