Since 1973, The Reference has continuously set the standard for loudspeakers and sound reproduction. A pioneer in using digital technologies to achieve the highest level of sonic accuracy, each pair can be matched to the lab-tested reference standard with an accuracy of 0.5dB.

Designed, engineered and handcrafted in the UK
Since 1961, KEF have been manufacturing remarkable, award-winning loudspeakers at their UK facility in Maidstone, Kent. The Reference, the flagship hi-fi loudspeaker, is still designed, engineered and handcrafted in Maidstone today.
