Design and technology in harmony

Its attractive shape cleverly hides the effort and meticulousness that goes into every detail of an s1. An ultra-stable structure inside the loudspeaker prevents resonances from the housing walls and standing waves in the interior that are harmful to the sound. The chassis are meticulously embedded in a 38 millimeter thick front and each has its own closed compartment. Generously rounded housing edges reduce sound diffraction, optimize the radiation behavior and underline the timeless elegance of these exceptional loudspeakers.

Achieving top performance means leaving well-trodden paths and breaking new ground. In Manger's search for timely playback, conventional loudspeaker chassis were quickly ruled out. The development of a converter that is not afflicted with the system-related errors of conventional chassis resulted in the patented Manger sound converter. This innovative system is unparalleled worldwide in the disciplines of time-coherent playback and signal fidelity. In the s1, a powerful woofer seamlessly complements the lowest octaves and offers sufficient reserves to effortlessly fill even large rooms with euphony.

Well thought out down to the last detail

No element of the s1 is coincidental, Manger understands the importance of each individual component as part of a chain that can only be as strong as its weakest link. Not only are the chassis connected to the body via long-term stable threaded screws, but also the amplifier and control electronics. The housing for the electronics consists of meticulously manufactured and low-resonance aluminum and nestles seamlessly against the loudspeaker body. Cables are fed into a generous recess from below, which prevents the cables from kinking. The solid base construction of the s1 guarantees the models perfect contact with the ground via the innovative and practical Manger Conefeet cf1.
