The Bluesound Professional BSP1000 is an active network speaker with integrated streaming capability, specially designed for use in commercial indoor or outdoor installations. This device is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing a single cable connection to the speaker for both power and audio. The player in the BSP1000 is based on the proven BluOS platform and is capable of playing and distributing content from local network storage and a variety of streaming services. This includes services specifically designed for commercial use such as SoundMachine, Custom Channels, QSIC, SiriusXM Music for Business, Tunify and Radio Stations. In addition to standalone use, a pair of BSP1000 loudspeakers can be used in a stereo configuration and multiple BSP1000s can be used in a room in either mono or stereo configurations. The use of the BSP1000 in a larger BluOS system is also possible, allowing it to be grouped in customizable groups of any desired size with other BSP1000 units and/or other connected Bluesound Professional players, amplified players or network speakers in the network in an installation.

The speaker features a 6.5' woofer and 1' tweeter driven by a highly efficient amplifier, including an energy-saving standby mode. The woofer is equipped with an included port plug for outdoor use. The speaker's frequency response ranges from 45Hz to 23kHz and the system's THD+N is 0.095% at full power rating. Access to content and power is via wired Ethernet for uninterrupted streaming. Highly efficient electronics and drive units ensure a maximum sound pressure level of 100 dB (using PoE).

The speaker can be controlled from any Windows/Mac computer as well as from any iOS/Android smartphone or tablet and the Bluesound Professional CP100 wall mount controller. Third-party control is also possible, using any of the leading systems. Safety precautions prevent unauthorized control of the system.

An integrated bracket allows for wall mounting with 90 degree rotation and 170 degree rotation. The IP65* rating allows for both indoor and outdoor use.
