Powerful discrete 5-channel amplifier

The NR1510's amplifier stage is equipped with discrete, high-current power amplifiers for all five channels to reproduce music and movies with outstanding sound quality. With a rated power of 85 watts per channel, the NR1510 supports low-impedance speakers with excellent speaker control.

Supports the most common voice agents

Control the NR1510 using voice commands. You can choose from the most popular voice assistants, such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Apple Siri. Using voice commands, you can, for example, play your favorite songs, increase the volume, skip to the next track, or change the music source. You can switch between the different voice assistants or select a specific one. The range of functions depends on the individual voice assistant.

AirPlay 2 + Apple Siri voice control

Stream audio files from your favorite services like Apple Music and Spotify, or watch videos from services like YouTube and Netflix on any iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV. Hear the audio from AirPlay 2 sources in perfect sync through the speakers connected to the NR1510.

AirPlay 2 also supports multi-room audio, allowing you to stream content wirelessly and simultaneously to multiple AirPlay 2-compatible devices. Improved audio buffering ensures smooth audio playback. Compatible audio devices can be controlled and grouped via AirPlay 2 and the Apple Music or Apple Home app, either within the AirPlay 2 app or via Siri voice control.

Amazon Alexa voice control

On this HEOS-enabled device, you can stream and control your favorite music services with Alexa. Play music from Spotify and Amazon Music, among others, with your voice. Turn the volume up or down, pause, mute, or skip to the next track—all with your voice.

With the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill and Alexa, you can easily stream music to this or other devices with integrated HEOS functionality.

Google Assistant voice control

Using the Google Assistant, the Google app, or other devices with the Google Assistant built in, you can control available audio content. Start music playback in the HEOS app, then you can ask the Google Assistant to adjust the volume, play, pause, or skip tracks, among other things. The range of functions is constantly being expanded. German will be added as a control language in 2019.

Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with two antennas

The NR1510 is equipped with two integrated antennas that enable interference-free and error-free streaming via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, even in densely populated inner cities. For maximum compatibility with a wide range of smart devices, both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi are supported. The NR1510 also offers quick and easy Wi-Fi integration at the push of a button (WPS) and the ability to share Wi-Fi via iOS devices.

Hi-Res audio support

Hear music exactly as the artist intended. The NR1510 decodes the lossless Hi-Res audio formats ALAC, FLAC, and WAV up to 24-bit/192 kHz, as well as DSD 2.8 and 5.6 MHz tracks (of the audiophile SACD format). Listen to your music via the front-panel USB port or network sources.

Integrated phono input

Simply connect your analog turntable to the receiver and enjoy the pure purity of every recording in your vinyl collection.

Marantz AVR Remote App

The Marantz AVR Remote app for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets provides you with comprehensive control options for the latest generation of network-enabled Marantz AV receivers. Control basic functions of your Marantz product, such as power on/off, volume control, inputs, and settings, or switch directly to the HEOS app.

Current HDMI connectivity

All six HDMI inputs, including one at the front, support HDCP 2.3, 4K Ultra HD video (60 Hz), 4:4:4 color resolution (Pure Color Sub-Sampling), Dolby Vision, HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), High Dynamic Range (HDR10), 21:9 video, 3D, and BT.2020 pass-through. eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) supports the transmission of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio from your TV apps over a single HDMI connection.

Auto Low Latency Mode for Xbox One

Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) increases responsiveness and offers Xbox One users an even more immersive gaming experience. The receiver must be connected to a TV that supports ALLM.

Easy setup, easy operation

To facilitate installation, the NR1510's premium speaker terminals are color-coded. Appropriately labeled speaker cable labels are also included. The Setup Wizard offers a clearly structured and easy-to-understand graphical user interface that, combined with the Quick Start Guide, guides you quickly and easily through the setup process, optimizing critical settings for the best possible sound quality, tailored to your existing device configuration.

Two subwoofer outputs

A single subwoofer requires optimal placement in the room for the best possible bass reproduction and to smooth out distinct peaks and dips. The NR1510 therefore supports two subwoofers. Placing two subwoofers in different locations smooths out the low frequencies, resulting in more precise bass throughout the entire listening area.

Smart TV connection options

Using the HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) feature of some smart TVs, the NR1510 can also be controlled with the TV remote. Enable the "HDMI Control" function on the receiver and configure the receiver control functions under "Smart Menu." You can then directly access sources and surround modes, the AVR setup menu, and Smart Select presets from your TV's "Smart Menu" home screen.

Audyssey MultEQ for easy setup and room calibration

Audyssey MultEQ uses the included calibration microphone to measure all speakers and the subwoofer during home theater setup and generates several high-precision DSP room acoustic correction filters. These ensure a consistent and exceptionally natural sound balance for all speaker brands and models. Audyssey Dynamic EQ is a powerful psychoacoustic processing technique that ensures clear reproduction of human voices and a wide frequency response, even at low volumes. Audyssey Dynamic Volume automatically compensates for distracting volume jumps between movies, news, and commercials.

Simple Smart Select functions

There are four Smart Select function buttons on the front panel and remote control. Each of these buttons allows you to save preferred settings—input, volume, and Audyssey configuration—for a specific source. With the touch of a single button, you can then perfectly configure the NR1510 for sources such as Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, or your favorite internet radio station.

Intelligent ECO mode

Auto Eco mode automatically adjusts the output power to the volume level. An on-screen Eco parameter indicator lets you track energy savings in real time. You can also adjust the settings to minimize energy consumption. In all cases, the excellent Marantz sound quality is maintained.
