Play main zone TV audio in the second zone without sacrificing fully discrete multi-channel playback in the main zone. In the AVR Remote app, select 'Source' for the second zone so that the main zone audio is not switched to stereo PCM.

Smart TV integration

The NR1711 can also be controlled with the TV remote control via the HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) function of some smart TVs. Activate the "HDMI control" function on the receiver and configure the receiver control functions under "Smart menu". Using the supplied measurement microphone, MultEQ analyzes the playback characteristics of each speaker (including the subwoofer) at up to 8 measurement points and creates precise digital filters that determine appropriate frequency response and timing settings for each channel. Audyssey Dynamic Volume corrects disruptive jumps in volume that occur, for example, during commercial breaks on television. Even at low volumes, you can hear dialogue, music and noise clearly. Audyssey Dynamic EQ ensures precise sound tuning and maximum clarity at all volume levels. Onboard memories for two speaker configurations

The new NR1711 allows you to store two completely independent Audyssey settings and switch between the two settings on the fly, allowing you to customize your listening experience depending on the content or listening environment.

Useful Smart Select functions

Four Smart Select buttons on the included remote control allow you to save your favorite or frequently used settings and change them as needed - including input source, volume level, sound mode, Audyssey configuration and even the 'All Zone Stereo' setting for party mode.
