Powerful discrete 5-channel amplifier

The amplifier stage of the NR1510 is equipped with discrete high-current power amplifiers for all 5 channels to reproduce music and movies with excellent sound quality. Rated at 85 watts per channel, the NR1510 supports low impedance speakers with excellent speaker control.

Supports the most popular voice agents

Control the NR1510 with voice commands. You have the choice between the most common language assistants, such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple Siri. For example, you can use voice commands to play your favorite music tracks, turn it up louder, skip to the next track or change the music source. You can switch between the different voice agents or select a specific one. The range of functions depends on the individual voice assistants.

AirPlay 2 + Apple Siri voice control

Stream audio files from your favorite services like Apple Music and Spotify or watch videos from services like YouTube and Netflix on any iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV. You can hear the soundtracks from AirPlay 2 sources perfectly synchronized through the speakers connected to the NR1510.

AirPlay 2 also supports multi-room audio: you can stream content wirelessly and simultaneously to multiple AirPlay 2-compatible devices. Improved audio caching ensures smooth audio playback. Compatible audio devices can be controlled and grouped via AirPlay 2 and the Apple Music or Apple Home app, either AirPlay 2 within the application or via Siri voice control.

Amazon Alexa voice control

This HEOS-enabled device lets you stream and control your favorite music services using Alexa. You can play music from Spotify or Amazon Music, among others, by voice command. Turn up or down, pause, mute or skip to the next track - all with voice commands.

With the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill and Alexa, you can easily stream music to this or other HEOS-enabled devices.

Google Assistant voice control

You can control available audio content using the Google Assistant, the Google app or other devices with a built-in Google Assistant. Start music playback in the HEOS app, then you can ask the Google Assistant to change the volume, play, pause, skip tracks, and more. The range of functions is constantly being expanded. German as a control language will be added in the course of 2019.

Integrated WLAN and Bluetooth with two antennas

The NR1510 is equipped with two integrated antennas that enable interference-free and error-free streaming via WLAN and Bluetooth, even in densely populated inner cities. Both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN are supported for the highest possible compatibility with a wide range of smart devices. The NR1510 also offers quick and easy push-button Wi-Fi integration (WPS) and the ability to share Wi-Fi across iOS devices.

Hi-Res Audio support

Hear music exactly as the artist intended. The NR1510 decodes Hi-Res lossless audio formats ALAC, FLAC and WAV up to 24-bit/192kHz and also DSD 2.8 and 5.6MHz tracks (of the audiophile SACD format). Listen to your music via the front USB port or network sources.

Integrated phono input

Simply connect your analogue turntable to the receiver and enjoy the pure purity of every recording in your vinyl collection.

Marantz AVR Remote App

With the Marantz AVR Remote app for smartphones and tablets with iOS and Android, you have extensive control options when operating the latest generation of network-capable Marantz AV receivers. Control the basic functions of your Marantz product such as power on/off, volume control, inputs and settings or switch directly to the HEOS app.

Current HDMI connectivity

All six HDMI inputs, one in front, support HDCP 2.3, 4K Ultra HD video (60 Hz), 4:4:4 color resolution (Pure Color Sub-Sampling), Dolby Vision, HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma ), High Dynamic Range (HDR10), 21:9 video, 3D and BT.2020 pass-through. eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) supports the transmission of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio from your TV apps over a single HDMI connection.

Auto Low Latency Mode for Xbox One

Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) increases responsiveness and offers Xbox One users an even more immersive gaming experience. To do this, the receiver must be connected to a TV set that supports ALLM.

Easy setup, easy operation

For ease of installation, the NR1510's premium speaker terminals are color coded. In addition, appropriately marked labels for the speaker cables are supplied. The setup wizard offers a clearly structured and easy-to-understand graphical user interface that, in combination with the quick start guide, guides you quickly and easily through the setup process, optimizing critical settings for the best possible sound quality, tailored to the existing device configuration.

Two subwoofer outputs

A single subwoofer requires optimal placement in the room for the best possible bass response and to smooth out significant peaks and troughs. The NR1510 therefore supports two subwoofers. Placing two subwoofers in different locations smoothes out the low frequencies, resulting in more accurate bass throughout the listening area.

Smart TV connectivity

The NR1510 can also be controlled with the TV remote control via the HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) function of some smart TVs. Activate the "HDMI control" function on the receiver and configure the receiver control functions under "Smart menu". You can then access Sources and Surround modes, the AVR Setup menu and Smart Select presets directly from your TV's 'Smart Menu' home screen.

Audyssey MultEQ for easy setup and room calibration

Audyssey MultEQ measures all speakers and the subwoofer via the included calibration microphone during the setup of your home cinema system and generates several high-precision DSP room acoustics correction filters. These ensure an even and particularly natural sound balance for all loudspeaker brands and models used. Audyssey Dynamic EQ is a powerful psychoacoustic processing technique that delivers clear human voice reproduction and a wide frequency response, even at low volumes. With Audyssey Dynamic Volume, annoying jumps in volume between movies, news and commercials are automatically leveled out.

Simple Smart Select functions

There are 4 Smart Select function buttons on the front panel and on the remote control. Each of these buttons lets you save preferred settings—input, volume, and Audyssey setup—for a specific source. Then, with the press of a single button, you can perfectly configure the NR1510 for playback devices such as a Blu-ray player, set-top box or your favorite internet radio station.

Intelligent ECO mode

Auto Eco mode automatically adjusts output power to volume level. An Eco parameter readout on the display lets you track real-time energy savings. You can also adjust the settings to use as little energy as possible. In any case, the excellent Marantz sound quality remains.
