Powerful discrete 7-channel amplifier

The power amplifier of the SR5015DAB is equipped with discrete power amplifiers for all 7 channels to reproduce music and movies with outstanding sound quality. Rated at 180 watts per channel, the SR5015DAB supports low impedance speakers with excellent speaker control and is also compatible with 4 ohm speakers.
The Auto Eco mode automatically adjusts the output power to the volume level without changing the sound experience. An Eco parameter readout on the display lets you track real-time energy savings.

Masterful 8K HDMI connectivity with eARC support

The new Marantz SR5015DAB features 6 HDMI inputs and 2 outputs for all your favorite sources. A dedicated 8K input supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz pass-through, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10, 21:9 video, 3D and BT.2020 pass-through. In addition, the latest copy protection standard HDCP 2.3 is supported on all HDMI connections. With the latest HDMI technologies and specifications, the SR5015DAB offers a new dimension in home entertainment, including support for HDR10+, Dynamic HDR, ALLM, VRR, QMS and QFT. The video processor is able to upscale native video sources up to 8K quality. The SR5015DAB also offers HDMI eARC support, so 3D audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X can be transmitted in masterful quality from your TV source. The HDMI inputs are automatically renamed based on information provided by the source (if available) for even greater ease of use.

Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization technology

The functionality and availability varies depending on the language assistant.

Amazon Alexa voice control

With the SR5015DAB and HEOS Built-in, you can stream and control your favorite music services using Alexa. You can play music from Spotify or Amazon Music, among others, by voice command. Turn up or down, pause, mute or skip to the next track - all with voice commands.

To start streaming music using Alexa voice commands, open the Alexa app and select Skills. Add HEOS Home Entertainment to activate the skill. Then switch to the "Smart Home" view in the Alexa app menu and select "Add a device" or simply say "Alexa, discover my devices".

Google Assistant voice control

You can control available audio content using Google Home, the Google app or other devices with a built-in Google Assistant. Start music playback in the HEOS app, then you can ask the Google Assistant to change the volume, play, pause, skip tracks, and more. The range of functions is constantly being expanded.

AirPlay 2 and Apple Siri voice control

Stream audio files from your favorite services like Apple Music and Spotify or watch videos from services like YouTube and Netflix on any iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV. You can hear the audio tracks from AirPlay 2 sources synchronously via the loudspeakers connected to the SR5015 DAB.

AirPlay 2 also supports multi-room audio: you can stream content wirelessly and simultaneously to multiple AirPlay 2-compatible devices. Improved audio caching ensures gapless audio playback. Compatible audio devices can be controlled and grouped via AirPlay 2 and the Apple Music or Apple Home app, either AirPlay 2 within the application or via Siri voice control.

Wireless streaming via WiFi and Bluetooth with two integrated antennas

Stream your favorite music wirelessly via WiFi and Bluetooth with the SR5015DAB. The two integrated antennas ensure stable connections, even in urban areas. In addition, dual-band WiFi 2.4GHz (11b/g/n), 5GHz (11a/n) is supported for the greatest possible compatibility with smart devices. The SR5015DAB can be connected to the WLAN quickly, easily and securely with the push of a button. Alternatively, you can use an iOS device to simply share your WiFi credentials with the receiver.

Bluetooth audio transmission

Watch the latest movie or listen to music without waking up the whole house. Listen to audio wirelessly through Bluetooth headphones and turn off the main speakers to avoid disturbing anyone around you. The SR5015DAB also lets you play audio through Bluetooth headphones and connected speakers at the same time.

HEOS Built-in

HEOS Built-in is your key to an unlimited music experience, anywhere in your home. Play songs stored on your smart device or personal media server and stream your favorite songs from leading streaming services like Spotify, Amazon Music HD, TIDAL, TuneIn Internet Radio and more, even in high definition. Combine your HEOS Built-in AV receiver with any HEOS Built-in product or speaker and stream any music source or TV sound anywhere in your home.

Hear every note exactly as the artist intended. The SR5015DAB decodes Hi-Res lossless audio formats ALAC, FLAC and WAV up to 24-bit/192kHz and also DSD 2.8 and 5.6MHz tracks (of the audiophile SACD format). Enjoy your music via the front USB port or from network sources.

Marantz HDAM and current feedback topology

The SR5015DAB features exclusive Marantz HDAM technology. The Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM) offers optimized broadband performance with low noise and an extremely high slew rate for maximum dynamic range to reproduce modern high-resolution audio files with optimal sound quality. Multiple sources, multiple spaces

Enjoy 5.1 channel surround sound in home theater and the same sound in stereo or a separate source in another room. Connect a pair of stereo speakers to the multiroom amplifier outputs. Or connect a separate stereo amplifier and speakers to the Zone 2 preamps.

TV audio in all zones

Play main zone TV audio in the second zone without sacrificing fully discrete multi-channel playback in the main zone. In the AVR Remote app, select 'Source' for the second zone so that the main zone audio is not switched to stereo PCM.

Easy setup, easy operation

For ease of installation, the SR5015DAB's premium speaker terminals are arranged horizontally and are colour-coded. In addition, appropriately marked labels for the speaker cables are supplied. The setup wizard offers a clearly structured and easy-to-understand graphical user interface that, in combination with the quick start guide, guides you quickly and easily through the setup process, optimizing critical settings for the best possible sound quality, tailored to the existing device configuration.

Smart TV integration

The SR5015DAB can also be controlled with the TV remote control via the HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) function of some smart TVs. Activate the "HDMI control" function on the receiver and configure the receiver control functions under "Smart menu". You can then access Sources and Surround modes, the AV receiver setup menu and Smart Select presets directly from your TV's "Smart Menu" home screen.

Useful Smart Select functions

Four Smart Select buttons on the included remote control allow you to save your favorite or frequently used settings and change them as needed - including input source, volume level, sound mode, Audyssey configuration and even the 'All Zone Stereo' setting for party mode. With the push of a button, the SR5015DAB instantly configures the receiver to your desired setting.

Marantz AVR Remote App

With the Marantz AVR Remote app for smartphones and tablets with iOS and Android, you have extensive control options when operating the latest generation of network-capable Marantz AV receivers. Control the basic functions of your Marantz product such as power, volume control, inputs and settings or switch directly to the HEOS App to control your online music.

Easy setup and room calibration with Audyssey MultEQ XT

Enhance your audio experience with Audyssey MultEQ XT by automatically adjusting to the listening environment. Using the supplied measurement microphone, MultEQ XT analyzes the playback characteristics of each speaker (including the subwoofer) at up to 8 measurement points and creates precise digital filters that are used to determine appropriate frequency response and time settings for each channel. Audyssey Dynamic Volume corrects disruptive jumps in volume that occur, for example, during commercial breaks on television. Even at low volumes, you can hear dialogue, music and noise clearly. Audyssey Dynamic EQ ensures precise sound tuning and maximum clarity at all volume levels.

Audyssey MultEQ Editor app

With the Audyssey MultEQ Editor app, you can go one step further and check and adjust the settings that are made via the auto setup in the Audyssey MultEQ Editor app. This allows performance to be fine-tuned to solve any specific problem in the room and tailor the surround experience to your personal preferences.

• View results before and after Audyssey calibration, making it easy to identify room issues
• Adjust the Audyssey target curve for each pair of channels according to your individual taste.

Onboard memories for two speaker configurations

The new SR5015DAB allows you to store two completely independent Audyssey settings and switch between the two settings on the fly, allowing you to customize your listening experience depending on the content or listening environment.

External control options

The SR5015DAB can be controlled remotely and over IP, making it easy to customize and integrate with third-party integration solutions. It can be operated over the network by controllers from well-known vendors and offers Control4 SDDP (Simple Device Detection Protocol) for a seamless connection with Control4 home automation. On the back there is an IR input and output for connection to an active external commercially available remote control receiver. Other Marantz devices, such as CD players, can then also be looped into the remote control chain and controlled.
