Compatibility with AES/EBU and Audio-over-IP (AES67/Dante) interfaces means the ISP Evo can be easily integrated into existing digital systems. Particularly noteworthy is the ability to feed up to 32 channels digitally into a network. This facilitates use in digital cinema environments as well as in state-of-the-art installations that require lossless digital signal processing.
Technological basis and compact design
The StormAudio ISP Evo is based on the proven platform of the ISP Elite MK3 and is housed in a particularly slim housing reminiscent of the ISP Core 16. This combination ensures high performance in a space-saving design. Due to its outstanding features, the processor was named a CES 2024 Innovation Awards Honoree .
Powerful decoding and post-processing
With decoding and upmixing capabilities for up to 24 channels, the ISP Evo supports the most common immersive surround formats. At the same time, it enables post-processing of up to 32 channels using advanced technologies such as the Dirac Live Active Room Treatment module and StormAudio Expert Bass Management . These features optimize the sound and ensure a precise listening experience that can be tailored to the individual characteristics of the room.
Modular design for individual requirements
The StormAudio ISP Evo is characterized by its modularity. Users can choose between different configurations, including AES/EBU or DCI compatible digital inputs as well as network-based audio transmission via AES67/Dante . Thanks to an extensive selection of control options, the ISP Evo can be seamlessly integrated into smart control systems. It can be operated via TCP/IP, IR interface or web interface as well as via common control systems such as Control4, Crestron, RTI or Savant .
