First-class sound precision
The high-end die-cast aluminum cabinet from SB Acoustics forms the heart of the design. High-precision paper -cone woofers/midrange drivers and passive long-throw radiators ensure impressive bass reproduction. The waveguide tweeters with silk dome tweeters minimize diffraction effects and deliver clear highs.
The robust MDF cabinet features the patented BridgeBrace™ structural bracing system for maximum stability. Paired with a 4-channel DAC and a hi-fi amplifier from Burr-Brown, CANVAS delivers unparalleled sound fidelity.
Room acoustic optimization
CANVAS is specifically designed for placement directly on the wall or floor, which enhances the bass. High-Precision Acoustic Control Room Correction linearizes the frequency response and precisely adjusts the bass. This feature, which is controllable via the CANVAS iOS and Android apps , utilizes the smartphone microphone or, optionally, the Zen Smart Reference Microphone for even more accurate results.
Compatible TV mount
The universal TV mount from CANVAS allows for flush and precise alignment with TVs of the most common sizes (55' to 77'). It ensures that the speakers and screen visually blend into a seamless unit. In addition to the matching wall mount, there is also an elegant floor-standing mount.
The front grilles are magnetically attached in 12 interchangeable finishes, including Kvadrat fabrics and real wood, and are available in sizes 55", 65", 75" and 77".
Innovative networking
Connecting to your Wi-Fi is easy: iPhones automatically detect CANVAS, while Android users are guided through the Google Home app.
For streaming, CANVAS offers modern options like Apple AirPlay 2 , Google Cast , Roon , Tidal , and Spotify . It's multi-room compatible and connects seamlessly with other speakers.
The system also offers:
HDMI eARC for TV integration, including lip sync and volume control via the TV remote or Apple TV.
- Toslink and analog inputs for turntables and other audio sources. The Burr-Brown ADC ensures clear playback.
