The further developed version of the award-winning Black Cube SE has it all: building on the audio circuitry of the SE, the SE II has been expanded to include higher quality sockets, and it shines with a housing with a front panel. A bass filter that can be extensively adapted to your needs brings the performance of the Black Cube series to a new level.

A truly audiophile phono stage

Throughout the entire Black Cube series, it becomes clear how the best components ensure an excellent sound image. The Black Cube SE II enjoys a special status all the more: the improved sockets and an extensively configurable bass filter with sixteen different settings effortlessly satisfy even the highest demands.

Practically all systems on the market from high-output MM to MC can be connected to the Black Cube SE II. There is one slot per channel for solderless assembly of an optional impedance, and there is also an additional, directly effective hard-wire slot. If you would like resistors to adapt your personal system to the Black Cube SE II, we will include them with your order free of charge.

The high-precision, passive RIAA filter network lies between two linear amplification levels and is implemented with the help of high-quality, pulse-resistant polypropylene film capacitors with close tolerances. This allows impulses, dynamics and timbres to reach the listener unadulterated. As in the entire Black Cube family, the Black Cube SE II uses the latest generation of professional input stages that enable precise, low-noise and powerful playback. In the audio part there are additional assemblies for effective hum, HF and noise voltage suppression. The use of a double-sided audio circuit board enables optimized conductor track routing for particularly trouble-free operation.

The powerful, heavily oversized external power supply unit ensures particularly safe operation thanks to a custom-made toroidal transformer with a static screen. Neutrik XLR connectors with gold-plated contacts establish secure contact between the audio part and the PWX power supply, the cable between the audio and power supply is shielded. In addition, the two housings are made of non-magnetic material (aluminum) and each is mechanically dampened in the cover.

With the high-quality front panel (silver, black or chrome-plated), the Black Cube SE II also cuts a fine figure in the hi-fi rack.
