The further developed version of the award-winning Black Cube SE has it all: Based on the audio circuitry of the SE, the SE II - available from January 2023 in the Sven Väth Edition - has been expanded to include higher-quality sockets, and it shines visually with a housing with a front panel. A bass filter that can be extensively adjusted to your needs takes the performance of the Black Cube series to a new level.

A truly audiophile phono stage

Throughout the Black Cube series it becomes clear how the best components ensure an excellent sound image. The Black Cube SE II enjoys all the more special status: the improved sockets and an extensively configurable bass filter with sixteen different settings effortlessly satisfy even the most demanding requirements.

Virtually all systems on the market, from high-output MM to MC, can be connected to the Black Cube SE II. There is one slot per channel for the solder-free assembly of an optional impedance, and there is also an additional, directly effective hard-wire slot. If you would like resistors to adapt your personal system to the Black Cube SE II, we will enclose these with your order free of charge.

The highly accurate, passive RIAA filter network is sandwiched between two linear gain stages and is implemented using high-quality, close-tolerance, transient-resistant polypropylene film capacitors. As a result, impulses, dynamics and timbres can reach the listener unadulterated. As in the entire Black Cube family, the Black Cube SE II also uses the latest generation of professional input stages, which enable precise, low-noise and powerful playback. The audio section contains additional modules for effective hum, HF and noise voltage suppression. The use of a double-sided audio circuit board enables an optimized conductor path for particularly trouble-free operation.

The powerful, heavily oversized external power supply ensures particularly safe operation thanks to a specially manufactured toroidal transformer with a static screen. Neutrik XLR connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure reliable contact between the audio part and the PWX power supply, the cable between the audio and power supply is shielded. In addition, the two housings are made of non-magnetic material (aluminum) and are mechanically damped in the cover.

With the high-quality front panel (silver, black or chrome-plated), the Black Cube SE II also cuts a fine figure in a hi-fi rack.
