ROTATION R 5.3

Turntable with Elipso Centric Belt Drive, 10” AVM tonearm · Solid 60 mm HDF composite frame with aluminum cover, 33/45 RPM look-forward servo control, height-adjustable damper feet, dimmable & switchable turntable backlight

The R 5.3 is an audiophile high-end turntable with a specially developed tonearm and Elipso Centric Belt Drive for true vinyl connoisseurs.

Equipped with a 10" gimbal-mounted tonearm specially developed by AVM, the ROTATION R 5.3 record player has an ellipso-centric belt drive with a resulting tilting moment in the turntable axis of 0.0. The ROTATION R 5.3 offers an extensive cocktail of cleverly designed and perfectly processed solutions. The blue illuminated turntable in combination with the composite frame reinforced with fully bonded aluminum parts completes the picture.

The first record players in AVM's company history are a contribution to the renewed market success of the beloved vinyl record.

Creating an analog source based on in-house developments that meets the highest standards was a long-held dream and a top priority for AVM owner and managing director Udo Besser from the very beginning. The development of these two record players was accompanied by new, more sophisticated phono preamplifiers, such as the compact P30 preamplifier or the modular OVATION PH 8.3 flagship tube preamplifier. With AVM's simultaneous expertise in both disciplines, AVM, as a German luxury manufacturer, is completing its comprehensive portfolio with a series of purely analog masterpieces. Both record players are equipped with tonearms specially designed by AVM and feature a whole range of technical refinements. Both the ROTATION R 2.3 and the ROTATION R 5.3 flagship models have tonearms specially designed by AVM and feature a whole range of technical refinements.
