POWERIGEL PLUS

The POWERIGEL PLUS builds on the strengths of the POWERIGEL and combines them with the extraordinary sound of the Naim Power-Line. Its job is seemingly simple: distributing power to multiple audio components. The trick, however, is to do this as inconspicuously as possible, without affecting the sound quality.

We had to find out for ourselves how difficult this task can be in practice, because the development of the POWERIGEL products took much longer than we had anticipated. All sound-relevant features were examined in extensive listening tests and countless comparisons. There were even huge differences in the choice of material for the spring system, which prompted us to take a critical look at every component, no matter how inconspicuous.

The housing made of anodized aluminum is mechanically decoupled thanks to a suspension to prevent microphonic effects. Small spikes on the suspension struts make contact with the ground and also help to reduce the microphony caused by vibrations.

Four, six or eight (POWERIGEL PLUS 4, 6 or 8) high-quality power cables of the Power-Line type offer sufficient connection options. The supply line is also a power line with a Furutech plug. Thanks to a special welding process, there are practically no transition losses, unlike conventional plug-in strips with screwed contacts. The punctiform contact also ensures the same high-quality sound for all connected components.

The CE-certified POWERIGEL PLUS occupies a special position on the market due to its ingenious construction. It makes connected components sound tonally very balanced, and it makes music reproduction much more powerful, clearer and more rhythmically precise.
