Like the Classic On-Wall 2, which is equipped with all the technical refinements of the Classic series and, with its elegant glass finish, can be ideally combined with flat screen TVs of all sizes. An unobtrusive solution for everyone who wants to combine excellent sound and a harmonious ambience.
It goes without saying that the Classic On-Wall 2 was developed with the same profound know-how as all Audio Physic loudspeakers. The same drivers work in the On-Wall 2 as in the Classic Compact 2 - a powerful bass-midrange driver with a woven fiberglass cone, fixed phase plug and the unique double-basket technology, as well as a precisely tuned tweeter with a fabric dome. This is also placed in a horn-like sound guide, which ensures a seamless transition between mids and highs and thus enables a wide, open and precise spatial imaging.
From the larger siblings of the Classic series, the On-Wall 2 has also adopted the complex sandwich construction of the housing made of three different materials. The various layers each have different damping properties and, when combined, result in an exemplary solid body that is practically immune to partial vibrations and resonances. And, of course, sophisticated crossover technology and high-quality WBT terminals from the nextgen® series are also used in the Classic On-Wall 2 Audio Physics.
This combination of innovative technologies allows the Classic On-Wall 2 to play like a really big box despite its slim appearance. Wall brackets integrated on the rear allow both vertical and horizontal installation and create a precisely defined distance between the rear and the wall, which guarantees optimal bass reproduction.
In very large rooms, or if the Classic On-Wall 2 is to be combined with other speakers from the Classic series to form a surround system, our Luna subwoofer can also provide additional deep bass support.
Features: 2-way principle
With 2-way loudspeakers, two different loudspeaker chassis share the reproduction spectrum – one (often two in the case of center loudspeakers) bass-midrange loudspeaker and a tweeter. Usually the separation occurs between 2000 Hz and 3000 Hz.
VCT—Vibration Control Terminal
Unwanted vibrations disrupt the unadulterated signal flow at every point in the transmission chain. Since AUDIO PHYSIC has declared war on sound-damaging vibrations and resonances in any form, the VIBRATION CONTROL TERMINAL (VCT), which is elaborately decoupled from the housing, was developed.
