When Devialet entered the world of hi-fi with the D-Premiere more than 10 years ago, the innovative technology and fascinating design of the French amplifier represented a real revolution. And this still applies to the successor models in the Devialet EXPERT series today PRO - thanks to constant further development, Devialet has managed to always be (at least) one step ahead of the competition.

Even the entry-level model, the stereo amplifier Devialet EXPERT 140 PRO, contains all the technologies that make Devialet products so unique, above all, of course, the hybrid amplifier technology ADH® in the latest version V2. ADHV2® ingeniously combines the sonic advantages of analog amplification with the precision and performance of modern Class D amplifiers.

With the active speaker management SAM®, the Devialet EXPERT 140 PRO can be perfectly adapted to any speaker. To this end, Devialet EXPERTs from Devialet regularly examine and measure the specific properties of a wide variety of loudspeakers, thus building up a constantly growing database of loudspeaker profiles. The SAM® settings and all other options can be easily set up with an online configurator and are transferred to the device on an SD card.

In an increasingly digitized world of music, the D/A converter is becoming increasingly important - its quality has a decisive influence on the possible sound quality when playing digital sources. That's why Devialet leaves nothing to chance here and relies on its own converter technology called DAC Magic Wire®. By cleverly integrating this technology into the infrastructure of the device, the French have succeeded in reducing the distance between the D/A converter and speaker connections to a record-breaking 5 cm, so that harmful influences on the sensitive analog signal don't stand a chance.

When it comes to connectivity, the Devialet EXPERT 140 PRO leaves nothing to be desired, it has connections for numerous digital and analog sources and even has an integrated phono stage for connecting a turntable. It also receives musical data streams via LAN cable or wirelessly via WLAN. Devialet has its own app for controlling the streaming, and all other everyday functions are operated via what is currently perhaps the most beautiful remote control in the industry.

Like all devices in the Devialet EXPERT series, the Devialet EXPERT 140 PRO is also based on Devialet's Evo® platform and can therefore be adapted to future technical developments, new standards or formats via software updates.
