Rotel's new RMB-1587MKII 7-channel power amplifier continues the tradition of producing high-performance audiophile amplifiers for multi-channel systems.
The RMB-1587MKII utilizes the current MKII design architecture and includes both circuit and component improvements in the power supply and amplifier stages. It delivers extremely low distortion, high signal separation and powerful output with the highest precision and clarity.
The Class AB amplification of the RMB-1587MKII
is made up of two generously sized
and supplied with stable power by high-current toroidal transformers manufactured in-house and by eight highly efficient storage capacitors. It delivers rich, deep bass with absolute control and vibrancy, even with the most demanding speakers.
Unlike multi-channel amplifiers whose performance drops when driving multiple channels simultaneously, the RMB-1587MKII delivers 155 watts per channel into 8 ohms of Class AB amplification for all 7 channels simultaneously. It reaches 250 watts
per channel into 4 ohms when driving all channels, and is capable of delivering a stunning 335 watts RMS per channel when driven in stereo into 4 ohm speakers.
For optimal cooling, the RMB-1587MKII is equipped with 4 thermo-controlled, speed-controlled and extremely quiet fans.
The RMB-1587MKII is specifically designed for demanding home theaters and custom install solutions. User-friendly, automatically switchable XLR and RCA inputs ensure compatibility with almost any AV processor
or home theater receiver preamp output. A 12V trigger input and output allows for simplified control. A rack mounting kit is available for mounting in standard 19' equipment racks.
The RMB-1587MKII is available in black and silver.
