CLASSIC POWER POWER AMPLIFIER
The Classic-POWER is the latest stereo power amplifier within the well-known Classic series. The goal was to achieve a significant increase in performance over previous versions by leveraging everything we learned while developing the XR series, but maintaining the familiar design of the Classic series. The circuit topology has been completely redesigned and most of the internal components have been upgraded by the Cyrus R&D team. The result is sonic improvements that will help ensure the Classic Series continues to have a loyal fan base in the future.

The Classic-Power's broadband power amplifier works from the DC threshold up to over 50 kHz and offers an absolutely linear frequency response without unwanted phase shifts in the audio band. With its oversized power supply, the Classic Power power amplifier always manages to turn the scope and drama of musical performances into an immediate experience.
High performance power supply:
The power supply has a massive 408VA toroidal transformer that delivers stable, low-noise power to the high-performance power supply.
PSX-R2 connector:
The Classic Power has a connection for the PSX-R2 power supply. The PSX-R2's power supply is routed internally to the Classic Power's voltage amplifier and power amplifier stages to provide a more stable, low-noise power supply for this important part of the amplifier.
Low power consumption in standby mode:
The Classic-Power can be switched to an energy-saving standby mode via MC-BUS or via the 12 V trigger input.
Die-cast aluminum chassis:
All Cyrus components are still housed in the Cyrus iconic die-cast aluminum chassis, which has been used across the Classic and XR range for over 30 years now. Designed and built to stand the test of time, each individual chassis is finished by hand, resulting in every product built being of the highest quality.
