The Symphonia was developed as a universal "one-box system" that supports an extraordinary range of sources. State-of-the-art DSD and PCM converters enable high-precision signal processing, while the integrated amplifiers with 250 watts of power per channel offer powerful and detailed sound reproduction. The third generation Audiophile Streaming Architecture (ASA G3) ensures seamless access to streaming services, USB sources and mobile audio streaming via Connect Services

Design – Classic elegance meets modern functionality

With its compact dimensions of 10 x 38 x 34 cm (H x W x D), the Symphonia continues T+A's design tradition. Its proportions are based on the legendary preamplifiers from 1985, while the controls and VU meters are reminiscent of the current 200 series. The slanted front is a tribute to the R series of the 1990s. Clear lines, carefully placed controls and intuitive controls ensure effortless handling. From the first draft to the final production, every detail was optimized to meet the highest demands both visually and functionally.

Streaming & Converters – Audiophile Excellence without Compromise

The third generation of the Audiophile Streaming Architecture (ASA) enables complete integration into modern networks and guarantees the highest sound quality. Thanks to powerful network modules, the Symphonia processes signals via WLAN, LAN and USB master mode and offers access to streaming services such as Deezer, Qobuz and Tidal. In addition, high-resolution local network files up to 384 kHz / 32 bit (HD PCM) and DSD 256 can be played in the best possible quality.

DSD playback is native via the unique T+A True-1Bit converter, which processes DSD signals without distortion without converting them to PCM - an approach that ensures unparalleled purity and precision in music playback. PCM conversion is based on the tried-and-tested T+A double differential converter, which achieves exceptional linearity and dynamics thanks to its excellent signal processing. With T+A Path Separation Technology, ease of use and sonic perfection merge to create a unique listening experience.

Innovative energy supply for maximum performance

Conventional switching power supplies often cause unwanted interference that negatively affects sound quality. T+A meets this challenge with the innovative high-frequency sine wave power supply. With a switching frequency that is twice as high as that of conventional power supplies, disruptive influences are minimized.

After intensive research, we have succeeded in developing capacitors that recharge 100,000 times per second - a 2,000-fold improvement over conventional systems. This means that the Symphonia reacts in real time even to extreme signal peaks and always delivers the energy required for stable and powerful playback. These heavy-duty power supplies ensure a constant voltage supply to the power amplifiers, regardless of the performance requirements.

Powerful power amplifier with groundbreaking technology

The Symphonia uses state-of-the-art power amplifiers with the innovative PURIFI Eigentakt™ technology, which is considered to be the leader in the field of Class D power amplifiers. This platform overcomes the previous weaknesses of digital amplification and enables exceptionally low distortion with constant power output.

While previous digital amplifiers struggled with load dependence, intermodulation distortion and increased distortion, PURIFI technology is characterized by an outstandingly low distortion factor and maximum sound purity - regardless of the output power. The Intelligent Safe Control (ISC) monitors all critical parameters such as temperature, load and clipping in real time and automatically adjusts the gain to ensure consistently outstanding performance.

Comprehensive connection variety for maximum flexibility

As the central control unit of a high-end audio system, the Symphonia offers a wide range of connection options. Two digital, two analog and two USB inputs as well as an HDMI interface enable connection to almost any imaginable source. An integrated phono module also allows the connection of a record player for analog music playback at the highest level. A preamplifier and a subwoofer output enable flexible integration into existing audio systems.

In order to protect analog signals as best as possible from digital interference, T+A relies on consistent separation of the signal paths. Highly developed Silicon Labs isolators ensure galvanic isolation between digital and analog sections, with even the power supply being completely separated. This means that the analog music signal remains unadulterated and true to the original - exactly as it was recorded by the artist in the studio.
